Symptoms and behaviors of sick cats

  • Consistent vomiting. Cats vomit to get rid of hairballs and after eating grass, this is normal. However, if your cat vomits repeatedly or you see blood in the liquid, take them to a vet ASAP.

  • Not eating their regular food. Cats are fussy, so try other food or give them some tuna. Still not eating ? Watch them carefully and if it's been more than a day, take them to a vet.

  • Wounds after a fight. Cats often bite each other on the head, face, or neck. To prevent an abscess or infection, take them to a vet ASAP.

  • Excessive drinking, this could show a kidney problem get them to a vet ASAP.

  • Painful joints. Your cat doesn't want to jump on or off furniture, walks abnormally and/or cries and bites when you touch their joints.

NOTE
